Made it Myself!

Ta Da!
My initial plaque for my classroom. I simply bought the cardboard A and the background plaque at Hobby Lobby. I also made my own modge-podge - elmers glue and water! YAY! Then I modge-modged (is that a word?) my choice of scrapbook paper to each....oh, I painted edges and the back green. I tied a pretty bow and glued the ends to the plaque. LOVE IT! This is such fun!!
Now that classes are over, I am so bored...I plan to create all summer long!! SO, more to come...

Preparations...

I am busy preparing for my future classroom...
From what I have seen of other teachers, I am OCD enough to fit right in!  ;)
I had a practicum with a teacher that had been hired the night before. Needless to say, it was crazy unorganized for her.
That is when I decided to start preparing for my room now...
I have hit up the dollar store and have purchased hundreds of book baskets and other organizing baskets for my library and student use.

Hoo-ray! My first post on my first blog! I am in my final year of school, preparing to be a teacher. This will be my journey....

I have decided an an owl styled classroom with brown as my base with blue accents. Pictures to come..
